The Arab League Council commenced an extraordinary session today at the permanent representatives level, chaired by Jordan, to address Israel's starvation blockade of the Gaza Strip.

The meeting, convened at Palestine's request, examines:

1. The catastrophic humanitarian situation and deliberate starvation policies

2. Israel's "inhumane distribution points" that lure civilians into targeted areas

3. Plans to establish a so-called "humanitarian city" in southern Gaza - which in reality constitutes a "closed racial prison camp" extending the genocide and facilitating mass forced displacement
