The Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi, has issued a decision to:

  • Refer 23 healthcare facilities (including hospitals, medical centers, clinics, and laboratories) to the Medical Responsibility Authority for disciplinary action

  • Permanently close 5 facilities for violating:
    ✓ Ministerial Decision No. 87 of 2023 on healthcare advertising regulations
    ✓ Law No. 70 of 2020 governing medical practice and patient rights
    ✓ Ethical medical standards, including unapproved treatments and commercialized practices

  • Misleading medical advertisements contradicting the nobility of the profession
