Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, Kuwait's Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, stressed the importance of strengthening international dialogue on family issues during her remarks on Saturday. She commended Turkey's role in this field, particularly for hosting the International Family Forum in Istanbul.

The minister made these statements to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) following her participation in an inspection tour of the "All Happy Families Resemble One Another" exhibition alongside Turkish First Lady Emine Erdoğan and ministers and officials responsible for family affairs from several countries.

Dr. Al-Huwaila expressed appreciation for the Turkish First Lady's role, noting the significance of the exhibition in presenting ideas that reflect family values and highlight their role in strengthening human bonds and social cohesion.

Earlier, Mrs. Erdoğan emphasized that the exhibition delivers a powerful message about the importance of family ties built on love, commitment, and mutual respect, and their role in achieving social stability. She stated, "The International Family Forum reminds us once again of the global strength of the family and its unifying role in societies."

Forum Highlights Global Family Challenges

The International Family Forum kicked off on Thursday in Istanbul with the participation of ministers and officials from multiple countries. The two-day event, held under the theme "Protecting and Strengthening the Family in a Globalized World," is part of the "Year of the Family 2025" initiative announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The forum features panel discussions, exhibitions, and diverse activities aimed at sharing international best practices and experiences in safeguarding the family, enhancing its social role, and supporting its stability in the face of contemporary global challenges.
