The General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) recognized Kuwaiti nationals Othman Al-Jiran and Ghunaima Al-Mutawi among 12 outstanding Gulf youth during an awards ceremony under the theme "Gulf Youth: Innovation, Leadership, Achievement." Kuwait's Minister of Information, Culture, and Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi attended the event.

Othman Al-Jiran (Agricultural Engineer & Environmental Activist) told KUNA:
"This recognition reflects my work in environmental causes and sustainable agricultural projects in Kuwait and abroad, including urban greening initiatives. This honor motivates me to contribute further, and I thank both Kuwait's Youth Authority and the GCC Secretariat."
Ghunaima Al-Mutawi (Sustainability Educator) stated to KUNA:
"My selection acknowledges our achievements at Seeds Academy in sustainability education and initiatives like the Green Development Pioneers program with Kuwait's Youth Authority.
