Competitors from Kuwait's Basil Al-Sabah Motorsports Club secured multiple podium finishes during Thursday's fifth and final round of the Qatar Sand Drag Racing Championship.

Podium Achievements:

• Motocross Class: Ahmed Al-Baker claimed 2nd place

• Modified Class: Abdul-Samad Al-Shatti took 2nd place, with teammate Abdulrahman Al-Khalf securing 3rd place

• Pro Modified Class: Abdullah Abdulaziz earned 2nd place, while Ali Al-Drai’ finished 3rd

• UTV Modified Class: Hamza Safar captured 3rd place

• UTV Unlimited Class: Thuaini Al-Nahal achieved 2nd place

Club Director’s Statement:

Saif Al-Mutairi, Director of Basil Al-Sabah Motorsports Club, expressed his pride in the team’s strong performance at the championship, hosted in Doha. In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), he highlighted the club’s commitment to excelling in both local and regional competitions.

Al-Mutairi extended his gratitude to the General Sports Authority for their support, as well as to the event organizers for their exceptional hospitality and seamless execution.

The Qatar Sand Drag Racing Championship, which began in November, consisted of five rounds, concluding with this final event in Doha.
