The Ministry of Public Works, in cooperation with the General Traffic Department, announced the closure of Al-Ghawas Street in the Al-Sabahiyah area, between the first and second blocks, for those coming from the first roundabout towards South Al-Sabahiyah, up to Hamad Al-Zuwair roundabout, at dawn on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The ministry explained that traffic will be diverted to the opposite direction, with the road divided into one lane for entry and two lanes for exit, as part of the Al-Ghawas Street development project. Drivers were urged to exercise caution and follow traffic diversions and directional signs at the work site, in order to ensure their safety and the smooth flow of traffic.
