Huawei unveils the Kirin 9050 Pro processor with a new architectural design and significant improvements in performance and artificial intelligence..

Huawei has officially announced its new Kirin 9050 Pro processor, designed for flagship smartphones. It offers a significant leap in performance, AI cores, and graphics processing compared to its predecessor, the Kirin 9030 Pro.

The processor is based on the LinxiCore CPU architecture and supports simultaneous multi-threading, resulting in a 24% increase in single-core performance and a 52% improvement in multi-core performance.

The design consists of a single main core and three performance cores dedicated to heavy tasks, along with four high-efficiency cores for multitasking and two smaller cores for everyday use. This architecture allows for file loading speeds up to 50% faster than the previous generation.

On the graphics side, the processor features the new Maleoon GPU, which adds real-time ray tracing support at 50 MB/s, along with a 142% improvement in rendering performance through dedicated modules and double the cache.
