The Ministry of Education has announced the opening of applications for teaching staff, administrative staff, and technical support positions within the "Gifted Schools" project. This project, one of the development initiatives overseen by the Gifted Students Office under the Minister of Education's Office, aims to establish a comprehensive national system for identifying, nurturing, and developing the abilities and talents of gifted students.
The Ministry clarified that the admission and selection criteria include prioritizing Kuwaiti citizens or those with Kuwaiti mothers, and requiring applicants to hold a university degree in the required specialization. For teaching staff, a university degree in the specialization required for the teaching position is also mandatory, in addition to achieving an "Excellent" rating for the past two years.
She added that among the essential requirements is a minimum of two years of practical experience, with preference given to applicants with prior experience working with gifted students or outstanding activities and achievements in their field of specialization, as well as proficiency in computer use and applications.
