At COMPUTEX 2026, Samsung Display unveiled a new OLED display called Ultra Slim, which it describes as the world's thinnest OLED display designed for gaming laptops.

The company achieved a thickness reduction of over 20% compared to its current generations, thanks to new manufacturing technologies that reduced the thickness of the main glass layers by more than 30%, while maintaining structural integrity and preventing the bending issues that plague ultra-thin displays.
