The Qatari Prime Minister discusses with Ukrainian officials the latest developments in the crisis between their country and Russia..

On Tuesday, Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed with the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, the latest developments in the crisis between their country and Russia.


In a statement, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said this occurred during bin Abdulrahman's reception of them. The meeting reviewed cooperative relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them. They also discussed the latest developments in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and ways to resolve it through peaceful means, in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest.


During the meeting, the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed his country's stance in support of all international efforts to find a peaceful solution to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis through dialogue and diplomatic means.


For their part, the two Ukrainian officials expressed their country's appreciation for Qatar's efforts in reuniting a number of Ukrainian children with their families. They also praised Qatar's positive diplomatic endeavors and its active role in Ukraine and the world.
