In the second half, the French forward added his second and the team's third goal in the 83rd minute, before Brazilian winger Vinícius Júnior sealed the victory with a third and final goal in the third minute of stoppage time.
With this result, Real Madrid raised their points tally to six, settling in third place in the overall standings, behind leaders (Villarreal) and second-placed (Barcelona) on goal difference. Meanwhile, newly promoted (Oviedo) remained without any points, sitting in the penultimate position in the table.
