Meta's Threads platform, which rivals X platform, continues to record significant growth in its user base, with the number of monthly active users exceeding 400 million, according to a report published by Fast Company magazine.

This comes after the platform crossed the barrier of 300 million users in December 2024, and 200 million in August of the same year.

Data from the location-tracking platform Similar Web showed that Threads' performance in mobile devices is gradually approaching the X numbers, as the platform recorded 115.1 million daily active users via phones last June, compared to 132 million for the X app.

These figures represent a 128% year-on-year increase for Threads, while X is down 15% year-on-year.
