The Ministry of Social Affairs announced today, Sunday, that the urgent Gaza relief campaign—launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the participation of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society and several Kuwaiti charitable and endowment organizations—has exceeded one and a half million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately $5 million USD) by midnight.

In a press statement, the Ministry noted that the campaign’s website, which went live earlier today, recorded around 1,540,000 Kuwaiti dinars by midnight.

The Ministry stated that the campaign reflects Kuwait’s humanitarian role and its steadfast support for humanitarian causes, as well as its solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. It emphasized that the campaign aims to provide basic food supplies to affected families in Gaza.
