Officially: Intel XeSS 2 is now powered by Nvidia and AMD cards..

Intel has officially launched the new version of the XeSS SDK, the XeSS SDK 2.1.0, and this time it will support a wider range of graphics cards, as it will work on Nvidia and AMD cards after it was limited to Intel Arc cards.

XeSS technology is coming for Nvidia and AMD cardsWith this update, any graphics card that supports Shader Model 6.4 or higher, such as the Nvidia GeForce GTX 10 and above and the AMD Radeon RX 5000 and above, can now turn on XeSS-FG features. However, Intel recommends running this technology on RTX 30 or RX 6000 cards and above for the best possible experience.

Most importantly, this update also allows non-Intel cards to take advantage of Xe Low Latency (XeLL), but provided that tire generation is enabled at the same time, which means that Low Latency will not work alone on AMD or Nvidia cards.
