The U.S. Department of State has approved two potential military deals for Ukraine worth $322 million..

The U.S. Department of Defense announced on Wednesday that the State Department has approved two potential military deals for Ukraine worth $322 million, including missiles and logistical equipment.

In a statement, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) under the Department revealed that the first potential arms deal is valued at $172 million and includes HAWK missile systems and related support equipment. The agency stated this sale would "enhance Ukraine's capability to address current and future threats by providing stronger air defense capabilities for self-defense and regional security."

In a separate statement regarding the second deal, the agency indicated it "includes Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles, maintenance/repair/overhaul equipment, and related support at an estimated cost of $150 million," noting it had submitted the required certification to notify Congress of this potential sale.

The Pentagon had announced earlier this month the resumption of U.S. weapons shipments to Ukraine after approximately one week of paused deliveries, which officials said was due to a review of U.S. weapons inventories.

"The Department of Defense, at President Donald Trump's direction, is sending additional defensive weapons to Ukraine to ensure Ukrainians can defend themselves while we work toward lasting peace and an end to hostilities," the Department stated.
