"U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday investments exceeding $100 billion in artificial intelligence and energy infrastructure in Pennsylvania.
During his participation in the Energy and Innovation Summit in Pennsylvania, Trump noted that these investments were pledged by 20 leading technology and energy companies. He emphasized that "today’s commitments ensure that the future will be designed, built, and manufactured right here in Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh… right here in the United States of America."
Regarding the (Homer City) plant, formerly Pennsylvania’s largest coal-fired power station, Trump said, "I promised to save this plant, which was forced to shut down due to the fraudulent Green New Deal campaign of (former U.S. President Joe) Biden."
He added, *"I am pleased to announce that with a $15 billion investment from (Knighthead Capital Management), the Homer City site is being revived as the largest natural gas-powered energy plant ever in North America."*
It is worth noting that the Homer City plant is currently being redeveloped to become the largest natural gas-powered data center in the U.S., aimed at meeting the growing demand for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing."
