Her Excellency Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works, affirmed that the Ministry of Public Works continues its efforts to achieve institutional excellence and enhance governance principles through the development and approval of its Governance Reference Manual and Institutional Governance Practices. This pioneering step confirms the Ministry's commitment to implementing best practices.
In a press statement issued on Monday, Al-Mashaan stated that the Ministry is among the first government entities to develop a comprehensive reference manual for institutional governance, which has been approved by the Civil Service Bureau. This achievement reflects the serious approach adopted by the Ministry in activating governance, implementing its principles, achieving institutional excellence, and complying with the Council of Ministers' directives regarding the application of best governance practices.
She indicated that this accomplishment comes in implementation of the directives of the esteemed Council of Ministers regarding the enhancement of ambitious governance that seeks to achieve excellence in government performance and improve its quality across state institutions. This extends the vision of services provided to meet society's aspirations.
She added that this manual serves as a regulatory reference for establishing an institutional culture based on discipline, sustainable development, and the implementation of governance principles and practices at all operational levels, while achieving sustainable development.
