Olympique Safi won the Moroccan Throne Cup in football on Sunday night, defeating Nahdat Berkane 6-5 on penalties in the final held at the Grand Stadium in Fez.

The match, watched by tens of thousands of fans, was decided by a shootout after regular and extra time ended in a 1-1 draw.

This victory marks Olympique Safi's first-ever Throne Cup title in the competition's 63-year history.
