His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, conducted an inspection tour of several Hussainiyas and mourning councils across various regions. The tour was part of the ministry’s close follow-up on security and organizational preparations for the month of Muharram, ensuring the highest level of readiness.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Interior noted that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef—accompanied by senior officials from the security forces and the National Guard—reviewed the implemented security plan and coordination points with relevant authorities, including Civil Defense, emergency medical services, and traffic management. The visit assessed the security teams’ preparedness to safeguard the observance of religious rites and commemoration gatherings with the utmost efficiency and precision.
