 His Excellency Khalifa Al-Ajeel, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Her Excellency Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, conducted an inspection tour of the Central Operations Room at the Ministry's Monitoring Sector. The facility is connected via a live feed system with the Ministry of Interior, significantly enhancing the Ministry's capability to monitor and track market activities in real-time with high efficiency.

Joint Commitment to Market Stability
In remarks to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Minister Al-Ajeel emphasized that maintaining market stability is a shared national responsibility requiring coordinated efforts from all relevant authorities.

"The Ministry continues around-the-clock monitoring through inspection teams that have intensified field visits to verify compliance of suppliers and commercial outlets with regulations," Al-Ajeel stated, underscoring the measures taken to ensure market stability and protect consumer rights.

During the tour, the ministers reviewed operational procedures and received field reports from inspection teams. Minister Al-Ajeel stressed the importance of maintaining constant readiness and integrated coordination with stakeholders to ensure commodity availability and monitor food market movements.

The Commerce Minister revealed that the Social Affairs Ministry has been requested to coordinate with cooperative societies, encouraging their collaboration with the Central Operations Room. This institutional coordination framework aims to:
