China and Pakistan evacuate their citizens from Tehran, Baghdad, and Tel Aviv..

Beijing and Islamabad announced on Tuesday the evacuation of their citizens from Tehran, Baghdad, and Tel Aviv to ensure their safety amid the ongoing military escalation between Iran and Israeli occupation forces.

China's state broadcaster CCTV reported that Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang stated during a press briefing that Chinese embassies and consulates in the Middle East are coordinating with relevant authorities to carry out the evacuation, with some citizens already safely relocated to neighboring countries.

Geng emphasized that the Chinese government prioritizes the safety of its overseas citizens, activating emergency consular protection mechanisms immediately after the outbreak of hostilities between Iran and Israel. Authorities have maintained close contact with Chinese nationals and institutions in the region.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry announced the evacuation of over 1,000 citizens from Iraq and Iran due to the conflict. In a statement, the ministry confirmed that 268 Pakistani pilgrims were repatriated via two flights from Basra to Karachi and Islamabad, coordinated with Iraqi authorities and Iraqi Airways.

The ministry urged remaining citizens in Iraq wishing to return to stay in contact with relevant authorities to ensure their safe return. Additionally, 545 Pakistani nationals and 228 students have returned from Iran via the Taftan land border crossing, which Islamabad recently closed amid rising tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv.

Since early Friday, Tehran and other Iranian cities have faced extensive attacks by Israeli forces, prompting Iran to retaliate with a major missile strike on occupied territories.
