The Kuwait national shooting team added four medals (one gold, one silver, and two bronze) on Wednesday at the ongoing Asian Shooting Championships in Linfen, China, featuring strong competition from top Asian teams. This achievement brings "The Blue Shooting Team"'s total medal count to seven, marking a historic milestone for Kuwaiti shooting sports.
Medal Details:
Gold: The men's trap team (Abdulrahman Al-Faihan, Talal Al-Rashidi, Nasser Al-Muqled)
Silver: The women's trap team (Shaima Al-Hawal, Sara Al-Hawal, Reem Al-Zamanan)
Bronze: Abdulrahman Al-Faihan (men's individual trap)
Bronze: Nasser Al-Muqled & Sara Al-Hawal (mixed team trap)

Duaij Al-Otaibi, Chairman of the Kuwait Shooting Sport Club and head of the delegation, told KUNA: "These results reflect our shooters' excellence in fiercely competitive events featuring Asia's best marksmen." He dedicated the victories to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, and the Kuwaiti people.

Al-Otaibi praised the technical staff and athletes' preparation level, noting these achievements position Kuwait strongly for 2028 Los Angeles Olympic qualification. "Our shooters possess the skill and determination to secure Olympic berths," he emphasized.
