Kuwait City, [Date] – The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait affirmed on Tuesday the depth of the strategic partnership between the two friendly nations and their shared commitment to the security and stability of the region.

In a press statement, the Embassy announced that it had organized an event on Monday evening in observance of Memorial Day, in cooperation with the American Business Council of Kuwait. The ceremony featured speeches by U.S. Ambassador to Kuwait Karen Sasahara and U.S. Air Force Colonel Matthew Johnson, both of whom highlighted the significance of the occasion in honoring the sacrifices of American service members and reaffirming the two countries’ joint commitment to regional security and stability.

The event also included a documentary screening on the Liberation of Kuwait from Iraqi occupation, showcasing firsthand accounts from U.S. and Coalition veterans as well as Kuwaiti participants. The presentation underscored three decades of enduring cooperation and the sacrifices made by military personnel stationed in Kuwait and the region.

The gathering was attended by senior Kuwaiti officials, members of the U.S. diplomatic mission, and representatives from the American Business Council, reflecting the multifaceted nature of bilateral relations—particularly in defense, education, trade, and culture.
