The Ministry of Interior carried out an extensive security and traffic campaign in the Bneid Al-Qar area yesterday, Thursday, which resulted in issuing 474 various traffic violations and arresting 19 violators and wanted persons. The ministry stated in a press release issued by the General Department of Security Relations and Media on Friday that the campaign was carried out with the participation of the Traffic Affairs and Operations Sector, represented by the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Rescue Police, and the Central General Department of Operations, in addition to the Women's Police.She explained that the campaign resulted in issuing 474 various traffic violations, arresting five people for violating residency and work laws, arresting seven people wanted for criminal cases, two people for not having a license, two people wanted for absconding, and two people wanted for criminal execution, in addition to referring one person to the traffic police.She added that the campaign also resulted in the seizure of two vehicles wanted by the judiciary and the confiscation of a motorcycle for traffic violations, stressing that its security campaigns are continuing in various regions of the country to maintain security and impose the rule of law.
